But first! (Insert heavy sigh here…) This is a first, not a “good” first. This is the second week in a row that I haven’t been able to offer a full color drawing. My day job is getting worse. Last week I talked about 10-or-12-hour workdays. Now, I’m doing double shifts. Today (Monday) I started at 6am for what turned out to be a 6-hour shift. Later tonight I’m going back to work. Starting at 11pm until 7am! Really! Doing the same overnight thing again tomorrow. Sucks… Two days ago (Saturday 9am) one of my project managers called and asked if I could work. I politely said “No”. I find myself in a Catch-22 situation. If I have money, there’s no time to spend it. If I have time, there is no money. Another tweak is my internal alarm clock. I find myself trying to go to sleep at 2:30 in the afternoon. Usually I’m out around 10-11pm. But this work schedule is brutal. Mutter-mutter-grumble… Some fun stuff now. Lots to talk about today. I picked up a book on something called “Kemonomimi”. Lately I’ve been drawing a lot of Anthro critters. This book takes that to a different level. For example, instead of a generic cat-girl, she’ll be based on a specific breed of cat. A Persian cat compared to a Siamese. Looks like fun. Speaking of fun. Let me show some pretty pictures.
