Considering what I used as a base (did you look at the original sketch?), I'm real pleased with it.
The viewer must be looking straight-on or slightly below like I was in the water as there seems to be little distance from the edge of the pool to the wall she is leaning against. This would mean she doesn't care that I am looking at her and perhaps is enjoying it--yay!--but is p.o.ed at the entrance of someone or something else.
Her gesture: she has extended her index finger so obviously is saying, 'Ichi ban!" to the viewer and her expressive scowl must be directed elsewhere. Beautiful work, Mike: fav
