Merak 2

A couple of years ago, the paint started to fail on my bicycle. What I think was happening was the silver mylar decals were rotting, and when they flaked off they took the paint with it.



So, at the time I did a quick fix. I stripped and painted in some Futurama graphics. These were always intended to be a temporary fix.



Now, some two years later, I finally did strip and repaint the bike. It's metallic copper over dark bronze, with silver text, and clear coated with a matte finish.



On BTW, The bike is a DeRosa Merak.
