:icongulliver63: has written another fan-fiction story, which is due to be released the first of next month. He was kind enough to let me read an early version of it. In it several members of the PES crew are taken as slaves. Including Leela, but that's in another chapter.

So this is where I come in. My compact Oxford dictionary defines slave: "/slav/ (noun) 1. Somebody who is the legal property of another." It doesn't have anything at all to do with the costume they're wearing. It could be something formal (Fry) or something outrageous (Amy) or something in between (Kiff).

I was just sharing with my wife your story about the opposition you had to this picture; what brought it up is the crap she's had to put up with for the Christmas holiday decorations at her school - they've all but pulled the guts out of what you and I used to know as Christmas, for fear of offending someone.
