Stupid Lungs 2

Full title: “Stupid air breathing lungs!” The line is from “The Prisoner of Blenda”.

I liked two of the gags. The first was the “stupid lungs” line and the other was when Amy/Bender flashed that big toothy grin holding that nasty cigar. So I used both of them.

A little note on the coloring. Three of the four markers I was using on her skin tone died. They died in the middle of the drawing! Gaaah! Noo-oh! The art store is closed tomorrow too! So I just desperately finished this. Somehow. Sorry about the choppy colors. In particular her left eye.

(Sighs)

You sure know how to use the markers well. The way the colours blend is great and I like that wet look you gave her :worship:

I like the way that those art design markers can actually blend at some point. The copic markers are the best - we have a local store that sells them for about $4.58, which is actually a deal!
I never thought about it, but Amy is funny looking with that chopped hair getting wet. BTW, my kid named her new Apple laptop "Luna", while I named mine "Amy" - everytime you hit the wrong key on mine, an Amy wav says "Buh!". Nice pic!

Occasionally I can get them to blend really well. It does take alot of ink. Doing this skin tone took four layers. When the pink (the shade color on her arms) started to poot out, I knew I was in deep trouble.

This go I'm looking at switching to Copics.

Yeah, I like those cheapies for their color selection, but there is no comparison in quality. In the latest Amos/Lelan pic I sent you, nearly everything in it is copic, but the fleshtone is a bit dark.

Very nice and what a great way to get a soggy seegar without having to chew on it. This by the way is the Smoky-approved way to smoke in the summer woodz.
