Tutorial Heads Up

Finish off the head.

Of all the comments I get, most of them are about how I don’t draw some head details “correct”. I don’t use lipstick. Or eyelashes. I think they clutter everything up, so they go away. I also show a bigger pupil, and longer hair down the side of her face.

The lipstick-less look is pretty ironic, considering what I use for an Avatar.

The head sketches are again straight from the DVDs. The second sketch shows how low the hair should go compared to where I draw it. Sometimes I’ll flip the hair in towards her chin instead of away.

Now the eraser gets a work out. As many of the excess lines as possible go away, anything to get that figure clear.
